Life has been busy, and I don't suspect it will be slowing down anytime soon. We've had friends having babies (two friends, three babies), friends announcing pregnancies, and the general business of beautiful weather keeping me far away from a computer in my free time.
Here is a little bit of whats been going on...
We got ourselves some $1 foam swords in the dollar isle at Target (best place EVER). We have had so much fun with them. Jax will bring them to us and start giggling before we even grab them. Good times...
and please, just ignore the piles of (folded) clothes on the coffee table.

Dog Pile on Dad! Jax thinks its hilarious when we are all on the couch/recliner at the same time. This time, Aunt Caidi was there for the photo-op.

Talk about a fabulous Mother's Day present. Clint came home with a new tree for the backyard (in the background)... and little did I know that was only the beginning.
With a lot of help from Uncle Kent and our neighbor Tyler, Clint built me a Pergola/Gazebo (not really sure what to call it), for the backyard. I love working in my flower beds/pots and being in the backyard. So, this gives me another way to enjoy this tiny backyard of ours!!
I wasn't quick enough to get a true before shot...

This thing was pretty amusing. It was $100 to rent and took them longer to haul it to the backyard than to dig the holes. Home Depot knows how to make a dollar.

Minus the tolls and ladders, this is pretty much how far they made it. We are waiting for a load of dirt and some grass to lay on top. Then, Voila! Shaded playground area/place for party tables.
And of course, somewhere for me to hang flower baskets :)
This is Jax watching them with the hole-digger (I'm sure thats the technical term). He thought it was pretty amusing!
